~Jimmy's Dad is guest blogging today~
James was up to 3lbs 14oz at his last weigh in and he is enjoying more light cycling- meaning he gets some sunshine during the day and his room is kept darker at night.

He is nursing more, but he wasn't so interested in getting bottles. We will try bottle feeding again in a couple of days but for now he and his mama are having some good cuddles together whenever they can.

We are hoping that he can continue to gain weight, and over the next couple of weeks he can transition to sleeping in an open crib (meaning he is able to regulate his own temperature) and that he will move to having all his feeding from nursing/bottles. He is still on oxygen but is close to coming off. Hopefully he will be home soon, and before we know it he will be off on adventures with his big brother, catching bugs and climbing mountains.
Great news, guys! Little Jimmy and all of you guys are constantly in our prayers and on our hearts! Hang in there...
ReplyDeleteLove hearing all the great updates! 3lb 14oz!!! He's getting so close to that 4 lb mark! Praying he'll continue to excel at everything else too, so he'll get to come home soon.

ReplyDeleteWOW! I went back to the first pictures of 2 months ago and now he's a little porker by comparison! And a cutie at that! We're so delighted to see him getting bigger and stronger by the day. Prayers still going up.
